Job Description

Assists the General Manager in overseeing every aspect of restaurant operations.

Ensures excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations, in a timely and consistent manner.

Ensures that existing policies are enforced consistently and fairly, and in accordance with Silver Gulch Management Conduct policies.

Direct supervision of cashiers, package store clerks, bartenders and servers to provide highest levels of customer service while maintaining control of labor cost.

Close supervision of alcohol service to assure compliance with Title 4 and TAPS guidelines.

Will assist General Manager with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsible for a portion of financial (daily cash-handling, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties, completed accurately, on time and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Manage all shifts, which include daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality, service timing and cleanliness.

Enforcing safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for both guests and crew members.

Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.

Promoting suggestive selling techniques.

Maintaining professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere.

Ensuring all opening and closing procedures have been met
Requirements
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience as supervisor in casual/Quick-Service dining
-
Experience with bar/alcohol service, including a high level of product knowledge of liquor, beer and wines.

Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction

Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team

Some exposure to P&L and sales building highly desirable
-
Must have excellent verbal and written English skills

Working knowledge of MS Office products, and familiarity with use of computers and POS systems
-
Must have good conflict-resolution skills
-
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Alaska driver's license
