Responsibilities:

To deliver World Class Service to each Silver Gulch guest

Follows the Silver Gulch Front of House Dress Code
-
To greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant with a smile
-
To seat guests according to the seating chart, rotating through Silver Gulch servers.
-
To estimate wait times during busy hours, and to coordinate seating in conjunction with the manager on duty.
-
After seating guests and giving them silver ware and menus, inform the appropriate server that he or she has a new table
-
Keep the host stand and the surrounding area free of dust particles, clean, and sanitary.

To abide by the Silver Gulch Service Expectations.

To assist in the cleaning of the dining room at the end of each night. This includes wiping tables, sweeping all debris from the floor, and mopping the floor with hot soapy water

To check out with the manager on duty before leaving each night.

This Position Requires:
Minimum age required (18 years). The ability to effectively accomplish service objectives with a sense of urgency. The ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision or support. Must be able to effectively organize people and service activities. Must be able to balance multiple activities with an attention to detail. Dedication to understanding and exceeding customer expectations
High school graduation (or equivalent) and at least two years of directly related food preparation experience. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks occurring at the same time.
A current “Food Handler’s Card”, reliable transportation, well groomed appearance and good hygiene
Reliable transporation.

Physical Demands:
Employees are regularly required to stand, (Up to 8 hours) walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Must be able to operate a cash register and make change. They may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
